Hey there Eezy family!
The year is changing soon! We gathered a checklist for you about our current events and the changes that will take place in 2020.
Tax card 2020
The 2020 tax card is now in MyTax. We will automatically start using this tax card on Feb 1st, 2020. If your tax card information is not up to date, apply for a new tax card in MyTax and send it to us well in advance of your salary payment. If you change your withholding percentage during the year, you will always need to submit a new tax card to us. You can still increase your tax card’s withholding rate, and you won’t need a separate change tax card if your income limits stay the same.
You can use your 2019 tax card until the end of January 2020. Calculating the 2020 income limit will start over in January. More information about the tax card can be found on the Tax Administration’s website.

Change in employer’s health insurance payment starting January 1st.
In 2020, employer’s health insurance payment will be charged only from those who declare themselves applicable for the YEL insurance. If this does not concern you, we will not charge you for the health insurance payment.
In addition, as of January 1st, 2020, the value added tax (VAT) will be added to the employer’s health insurance and accident insurance payments. Note! Accident and employer’s health insurance payments are tax deductible. More information about the change can be found on the Government website.
The employer’s health insurance payment is 1.34% + VAT in 2020
The change is updated in the salary calculator January 1st, 2020, after which you can calculate how the change affects your salary. Below here you can see an example calculation that shows you the impact of the change when a Graphic designer invoices his work from a company with 2,000 €. The accident insurance payment will be determined based on your profession.
